Convocation en 1912 du premier congrès des associations améri-canistes d'Espagne; organisation, en 1923, du premier congrès du commerce espagnol d'outre-mer; organisation, en 1929, de la première Conférence de Chambres de commerce américaines, qui donna naissance au Conseil de patronage de l'Institut. (HB 1936) In 1912 was held the first Congress of the Association of Spanish Americans; in 1923 the first Congress of Spanish trade beyond the seas; in 1929 the first Conference of American Chambers of Commerce which gave rise to the Institute's International Council of Patronage. In 1932 and 1936 the first and second meetings of the International Council of Patronage were organised. In 1936 (April) took place the celebration of the twenty-fifth anniversary which was attended by Spanish and American diplomatic representatives. (HB 1938)
